Last week Loaves and Fishes program manager Denize Stanton-Williams and management board chair Ed Grandi sat down with Dr. C. Webster Pearson of the University of the District of Columbia who hosts the program Health Matters on UDC-TV.
The interview was an opportunity for us to share what the Loaves and Fishes program is doing to help address food insecurity among the homeless and others in need by providing a nutritious lunch weekends and Federal holidays. We also made a point of mentioning our partnership with Table Church to provide a food pantry on the first and third Saturdays of the month.
The 30-minute program will soon be available on the UDC-TV cable channel in DC (Comcast Channel 98, RCN Channel 19, and Verizon Channels 19 and 21) and on their YouTube channel as well.
